Over the years, fans have swooned over certain fictional ladies, who became as unforgettable for their looks and charm as they were for their adventures. From femme fatales to witches and fearless fighters, these “cartoon icons” prove that beauty and power can go hand in hand.
1. Jessica Rabbit
Let’s be real, ever since Jessica Rabbit graced our screens in Who Framed Roger Rabbit, she became the ultimate bombshell. With the sultry dress, the purring voice, and that iconic line, “I’m not bad, I’m just drawn that way,” she set the standard for cartoon seduction. You can’t look at this animated goddess without feeling a type of way, and that’s okay.

The Road to El Dorado would still be a fantastic animated movie even if it didn’t have Chel. But since it features a big-booty Latina, it automatically goes into the “timeless classic” category. Natasha Romanoff, Marvel’s Black Widow, has been dazzling readers (and moviegoers) for decades, after she first appeared in Tales of Suspense #52 in 1964! That’s right, Nat is over 60 years old, but she still looks so damn fine. Her fiery red hair, striking green eyes, and sleek spy suit evoke a sense of scarousal (a mix of scared and aroused). And when you look at her lethal skills, you’ll quickly realize she is one of the most skillful fighters in comics.

Not to be confused with DC’s Catwoman, this feline foe of Spider-Man is impossible to ignore. With her luscious platinum hair, skin-tight black suit, and a smirk that could melt icebergs, Felicia Hardy, aka Black Cat, oozes confidence and, on occasion, certain other fluids. She’s not just eye candy, though. Her flirty but complicated relationship with Peter Parker’s alter ego makes her one of Marvel’s most intriguing and hottest anti-heroines.

I hear you screaming, “Really? You picked Ivy over Harley?” Yes, we did, because Poison Ivy is more nuanced (and she’s a redhead). Her eyes are up there!

Video game fans have been familiar with Tifa Lockhart since Final Fantasy VII, where she was one of Cloud’s main love interests while also helping him fight all sorts of nasty monstrosities. And lastly, we have Nico Robin from One Piece. Sure, she’s no Shyakky, and pirate crews likely won’t start wars over who would get to marry her (at least not yet), but her cold demeanor, dark sense of humor, and sexy outfits definitely make her a viable contestant. She’s as mysterious as she is alluring, and fans love her mix of brains, elegance, and quiet strength all wrapped up in a striking design.
